Confused on how to sort through your clothes when trying to purge? A client was asking about this and I have been meaning to post about this for awhile.
I like to keep my closet color coordinated, but this doesn't work for everyone. There are a many ways to organize a closet, it's what works for you. However, when it comes to purging clothes and you are having a hard time deciding what stays and what goes, some times it's easier to group them by color so that you can see all that you have in each color category. For instance, when you group all of your black clothes together you might find that you have multiple shirts that are similar, but some are really faded, have imperfections, or don't fit and that can make it easy to keep the ones you love.
I know getting rid of clothes can be difficult, but not drowning in a sea of clothes and having a functional space will feel so good in the end!
